We Did It, Thanks To You!!

Thank you to everyone who backed the campaign! Thanks to your amazing support, with 370 Backers, we unlocked almost all of our Stretch Goals and raised  $21,702 USD!!! Before we jump into the development roadmap, let’s take a look at all of the Stretch Goals we unlocked!

Stretch Goal Recap

Backer Quantity Stretch Goals
  • By blazing past 250 Backers we unlocked a Community Event, the Character Concept Challenge (can you tell we like alliteration?) in which one winner, by community vote, will get their own character added to the SIC book with art drawn by our artist Milton Aguiar!
  • When we broke through the 300 Backer mark we unlocked the Printable Power Cards! 
  • Then we crushed 350 Backers with a few days to spare, unlocking a new Species Type: The Symbionts with the canon Species called the Thron. I was super excited for this one!

Funding Amount Stretch Goals
  • We surged straight through $20,000 funding amount after reaching our funding goal, unlocking a new Calling: The Socialite.

Symbiotic Species Type Unlocked!

With everyone's amazing support we have unlocked another Stretch Goal with less than one day left!!! This brings the total number of Species Types to 6! We are very excited to add another option to the Super's Information Codex (SIC), and the exciting news is that you will get to see it and test it out in Playtest Packet #1! Speaking of Playtest Packets...

Playtest Packet Announcement

Before we share the concept art for the Thron Symbiotic Species' Host and Symbiote, we just wanted to give you an update on our plans for the Playtest Packets. Firstly, we are going to be sending out Playtest Packet #1 roughly one month after our campaign ends. That means you can expect to see it in early-to-mid June of 2025!

In addition, our plan for the entire playtesting process is to allow for a roughly 3 month time period after each Playtest Packet is released for the community to play the content in that packet, get a feel for things, and send in feedback with our official feedback forms. Then we will close the feedback forms and release the next Playtest Packet. This ~3 month cycle will continue until we have received feedback on all 3 Playtest Packets. At that time we will close the final official feedback form so that we can make all of the necessary updates for the final content, get the layout and editing for the SIC complete, and get ready to send out the final PDFs and send the files off to the printer to begin manufacturing!

Soon after our campaign is completed, we will release our Development Roadmap!

New Calling: Socialite Unlocked!

Wow, we've hit $20,000 funds raised thanks to every ones' kindness and efforts spreading the word about Indominant! This means we've unlocked The Socialite Calling! This is the Calling for you if you want to make a character that uses their powers to become famous celebrity, public figure, or other similar goals that require being well known amongst society.

There have been so many people telling us about how they are running games or planning to run games with friends, at local stores, in TTRPG Discord servers, and even at conventions and other local events! It really makes us so happy to hear about people sharing the fun experience of playing TTRPGs with others, using Indominant!!

We only have a few days left, and 2 more Stretch Goals left to unlock too! Those are the New Species Type: The Symbiotic once we hit 350 Backers, and the Indominant Soundtrack at $25,000!!

350 Backers for a New Species Type!

Since we hit 300 Backers, we've revealed our next Backer-total Stretch Goal. This one will unlock a brand new Species Type: The Symbiotics, and the first Species within that type, the Thron!

A Symbiotic Species is a species that is made up of 2 life-forms bonded in a single body or mind, where they both require the other to live. Symbiotic Species tend to be very resilient to illnesses, and recover from severe injuries quickly, as the symbiote inside the host can focus on bodily repairs and strengthening the host’s immune system.

We've gotten Milton to create some concept art so you can get a glimpse at what the Thron look like, and learn more about their lore!

300 Backers!! Stretch Goal Unlocked!!

We Have Hit 300 Backers & Unlocked the Printable Power Cards!

It’s amazing to have unlocked another Stretch Goal! This is a really fun one, as it’s a free extra reward for every Backer that can really make character creation and gameplay easier!

If you print out these cards, you won’t have to write or type out your Powers onto your Character Sheet!

Since these are free files, we designed them to be printable on a personal printer. This is why their overall design is simple, we took several steps to try to keep the amount of ink/toner used to as low as possible. We will also be creating some color versions as well as black and white!

We showed the cards during the live Q&A #5 last night, and someone asked if we would put these cards up on DriveThru RPG. We decided that we are going to look into that as another alternative for people, so we’ll let you know if that’s something that is going to work in a future update!
